Day Software Holding AG announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008. For the quarter, the company reported a 15% growth in total revenue over the same period in 2007. Revenues for the quarter totaled CHF 7.4 million, compared with revenues of CHF 6.4 million for the first quarter of 2007. Pre-tax income was CHF 507,000 compared to CHF 1.3 million in the first quarter of 2007. Service revenue for the quarter was below last year´s results for the same period, the company also made investments in the support infrastructure to better serve its growing global customer base. As a result of these two factors net income for the first quarter was below last year´s result.

Day Software Holding AG announced that the Board of Directors recommends to the General Assembly the election of Erik Hansen as a new member of the Board. Erik Hansen has thirty years of experience in sales, marketing, technical operations, alliance and business development at software companies in both the Europe and the United States. The Board of Directors also recommends to elect Ariel Ludi for an additional three year term as a member of the Board as Ludi´s previous term expires in 2008. The General Assembly of Day Software Holding AG takes place on May 15th 2008 in Basel.
